Kunduz, Afghanistan – September 20, 2025- The “Media” futsal team, initiated by the Afghanistan Sports Journalists Federation, was officially launched in Kunduz province with the presence of local officials and a number of journalists.
At the opening ceremony, a special program was held with wide participation from journalists and sports enthusiasts.
This team is made up of journalists and media activists, with the goal of strengthening solidarity, promoting a sports culture, and creating a healthy and friendly environment among journalists.
It is worth mentioning that the team’s sports uniforms were sponsored by Hakim Hassas, a journalist from Kunduz, whose contribution played an important role in encouraging and supporting sports among media professionals.
Local officials welcomed the initiative and expressed hope that the “Media” futsal team, through its sporting and cultural activities, could serve as a positive example for the younger generation.
