Kabul, Afghanistan – July 30, 2025 – The third round of the Futsal Super Cup, organized by Radio Jawanan, concluded with Shahid Naseem Kabul securing the championship title. The tournament was held over Thursday and Friday, featuring top teams from eight provinces across Afghanistan: Herat, Balkh, Takhar, Kandahar, Ghazni, Laghman, Logar, and Kabul.
Tournament organizer Shahzad Shirzad stated that the event was designed to promote unity, healthy competition, and the development of futsal in Afghanistan, while encouraging positive engagement among youth.
Four teams advanced to the semifinals: Shahid Naseem Kabul, Isar Herat, Shiva Takhar, and Haft Setara Ghazni. In the final match, Shahid Naseem Kabul delivered a dominant performance, defeating Isar Herat with an impressive 7-2 scoreline to claim the third edition of the Super Cup title.
These matches were part of a two-month-long futsal initiative conducted under the Futsal Super Cup banner across various zones in the country. Representatives from the newly established Futsal Federation also played an active role in the tournament’s organization, contributing significantly to its coordination and transparency.
