The 10th edition of the Shpageeza Cricket League, organized by the Afghanistan Cricket Board, began on July 19th at the Kabul National Cricket Stadium and has now passed its halfway point. The final match is scheduled to take place on 1st of August.
After 12 matches, the Mis Ainak knights team currently tops the points table, having won 4 out of 5 matches and losing just one.
Similarly, Amo stands second with 3 wins, followed by Boost in third, Band-e-Amir in fourth, and Speenghar at the bottom in fifth place, with only one win and four losses out of five games.
Hashmatullah Shahidi is currently the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 234 runs, while Mujeeb Ur Rahman leads the bowling chart with 9 wickets.
The 10th edition of Shpageeza, which features all national and domestic cricket stars, attracts thousands of fans every day from different provinces to Kabul to watch their heroes compete live.
